Zimyo alternatives

A straight comparison with SignHR — what each costs, what moves if you switch, and where Zimyo is genuinely the better answer.

Why people look for Zimyo alternatives

  • The headline is ₹80 per user, but performance, learning, engagement, timesheets and trip management are ₹40 each on top. A team that wants three of them is paying more than double the advertised rate.
  • Both published plans carry a fifty-user minimum, so a team of twenty-five cannot buy it at list price at all.
  • The jump from Standard to Enterprise is a two-thousand-user minimum, which leaves everyone between fifty and two thousand on the same two plans.

Head to head

SignHR vs Zimyo

Pick SignHR if

Teams under fifty people, where Zimyo's 50-user floor means paying for seats you do not have, or teams that want performance, tasks and checklists included rather than priced as ₹40 per-user add-ons.

Pick Zimyo if

Larger teams that will clear the 50-user minimum anyway and want to pay only for the modules they use. Zimyo's itemised add-on pricing means you switch modules on individually, its published base rate is genuinely low at scale, and its recruitment product at ₹4,000 per recruiter is a serious option for high-volume hiring.

On price: ₹80/user is the base only. Performance, learning, engagement, trips and timesheets are ₹40 per user per month each, there is a 50-user floor before any plan applies, and recruitment is ₹4,000 per recruiter on top — so the bill is the base plus every module you actually switch on.

What to compare on

What the real monthly rate is
Zimyo's list price is honest but partial. The only fair comparison is base plus the add-ons you would actually switch on, against a rival's all-in figure.
Minimum headcount
A fifty-user floor rules a vendor out entirely below that size, whatever the per-user rate says.
What is included rather than added
The cheapest platform is usually the one where the module you need is already in the base plan.

Where SignHR is the wrong choice

  • Younger product than the incumbents, with a smaller partner and consultant ecosystem.
  • Global payroll is not run in-house — multi-country HR is supported, but statutory payroll computation is India-first.
  • Some integrations named on our roadmap are not shipped yet; the integrations page marks which.

Frequently asked questions

Zimyo publishes Basic at ₹80 and Standard at ₹160 per user per month, both with a fifty-user minimum. Add-ons — performance, learning, engagement, timesheets and trip management — are ₹40 per user per month each, and recruitment is ₹4,000 per recruiter per month. Enterprise is quoted with a two-thousand-user minimum.

SignHR prices per employee with no minimum, Kredily's core plan is free for unlimited employees, and factoHR is free up to twenty employees. Zoho People has no stated floor either, though its Indian payroll is a separate product.

On published list price at exactly fifty employees: Pocket HRMS at ₹2,995 a month and greytHR Essential at ₹2,495 a month are both below Zimyo Basic at ₹4,000 (₹80 × 50). Kredily is cheaper still. Add the modules you need to each before deciding — that is where the ordering usually changes.

Yes, Indian statutory work is within its scope. So do greytHR, Pocket HRMS, factoHR, HROne, Kredily and SignHR. The differentiator across this set is rarely whether statutory is covered — it is what you pay to get it and what else comes with it.
