Head to head

Qandle alternatives

A straight comparison with SignHR — what each costs, what moves if you switch, and where Qandle is genuinely the better answer.

Why people look for Qandle alternatives

  • Qandle publishes no prices. Its pricing page offers a demo or a trial and nothing else, so you cannot shortlist it without a sales conversation.
  • Modular pricing tends to mean the configuration you actually want costs more than the entry pitch — and you find that out late.
  • Teams comparing three or four vendors in an afternoon simply drop the ones they cannot price.

SignHR vs Qandle

Pick SignHR if

Indian SMB buyers who want a published per-employee price before a conversation, and who want attendance, shifts and leave to feed payroll inputs cleanly.

Pick Qandle if

Teams that want a modular product they can switch on only where they need it, value a free trial before committing to a contract, and are happy to book a demo to get a price. Qandle's established Indian HR and payroll coverage is a real reason to pick it.

On price: Qandle's pricing page offers a demo or a free trial, not a price. When you take the quote, demand the per-employee rate, the minimum headcount, whether implementation is billed separately, and what the price does at renewal — a quote missing those four cannot be compared against a published rate.

What to compare on

Published pricing
This is the reason most people are on this page. A vendor that publishes lets you rule it in or out in a minute; one that does not costs you a meeting to find out.
Modular without surprises
Qandle's modular pitch is genuinely appealing. The alternatives worth considering are the ones that keep that flexibility and still tell you the price.
Indian statutory payroll
PF, ESI, professional tax and gratuity are non-negotiable for an Indian team, whatever the pricing model.

What you get with SignHR

23 modules on one platform, priced per employee with no headcount minimum. Punches arrive from ESSL, Hikvision, ZKTeco biometric devices, from the mobile app, or from on-device face recognition — and they feed the same record that leave, shifts and payroll inputs read from.

Time & Attendance

Talent & Lifecycle

Pay & Operations

Where SignHR is the wrong choice

  • Younger product than the incumbents, with a smaller partner and consultant ecosystem.
  • Global payroll is not run in-house — multi-country HR is supported, but statutory payroll computation is India-first.
  • Some integrations named on our roadmap are not shipped yet; the integrations page marks which.

Frequently asked questions

Qandle does not publish prices. Its pricing page offers a free demo and a free trial, with no figures anywhere on it. Numbers quoted on third-party comparison blogs are second-hand and we will not repeat them here — ask Qandle directly and get the quote in writing.

greytHR, Zoho People, Zimyo, HROne, Pocket HRMS, factoHR, Kredily, sumHR and SignHR all publish rates on their own sites. Keka, Darwinbox, Rippling, Workday and SAP SuccessFactors do not.

It depends entirely on how many modules you switch on. Modular pricing is cheaper if you genuinely need three things and more expensive once you need seven. The honest test is to price your actual module list against a rival's all-in figure, which is only possible with vendors that publish.

The per-employee or per-module rate rather than a bundled total, the minimum headcount, what happens to the price at renewal, and whether implementation or setup is charged separately. Get all four in writing, because a quote without them cannot be compared to a published price.
