Head to head

HROne alternatives

A straight comparison with SignHR — what each costs, what moves if you switch, and where HROne is genuinely the better answer.

Why people look for HROne alternatives

  • The pricing is bracketed at fifty users. A team of thirty pays for fifty, and a team of fifty-five pays for the block plus top-ups — so the effective per-head rate moves in the wrong direction at exactly the sizes most SMBs sit at.
  • HROne's own pricing table and its FAQ quote different per-user figures, which sends people looking for a number they can trust.
  • Teams that bought it for the breadth find they use a handful of modules and are paying for the catalogue.

SignHR vs HROne

Pick SignHR if

Teams below HROne's fifty-user blocks who would rather pay for the headcount they actually have, and whose attendance, shifts and leave need to feed payroll inputs without month-end reconciliation.

Pick HROne if

Companies at or around fifty users who want a full payroll engine with established statutory handling, a broader module catalogue across recruitment and performance, and the backing of a long-running Indian provider. If you are paying for the block anyway, HROne's block price is competitive.

What to compare on

Per-head or per-block pricing
This is the whole reason people leave HROne. A per-user rate scales with you; a fifty-user block penalises you for being under it and again for being just over it.
Indian statutory payroll
PF, ESI, professional tax and gratuity are why most Indian teams buy an HRMS. Anything replacing HROne has to cover them without an add-on.
A price you can read without a call
If a vendor will not publish, you cannot shortlist it in an afternoon — and shortlisting is what you are doing here.

What you get with SignHR

Where SignHR is the wrong choice

  • Younger product than the incumbents, with a smaller partner and consultant ecosystem.
  • Global payroll is not run in-house — multi-country HR is supported, but statutory payroll computation is India-first.
  • Some integrations named on our roadmap are not shipped yet; the integrations page marks which.

Frequently asked questions

HROne publishes Basic at ₹4,950 a month and Professional at ₹6,500 a month, each covering fifty users, with additional users at ₹99 and ₹130 respectively. Enterprise is quoted. Note that its own FAQ quotes ₹85 and ₹115 per user per month, which does not reconcile with the block figures — worth clarifying before you sign.

Kredily's core plan is free forever for unlimited employees, and factoHR is free up to twenty. Among paid options, sumHR publishes ₹1,428 per employee per year and Zimyo starts at ₹80 per user per month, though Zimyo has a fifty-user minimum. Compare the total for your actual headcount rather than the entry price.

Zimyo and Zoho People price per user, and SignHR prices per employee with no minimum — though Zimyo still enforces a fifty-user floor on its published plans. Kredily brackets at twenty-five. greytHR, Pocket HRMS and factoHR all bracket at fifty like HROne does.

Possibly, depending on what you were using. HROne's module list is wide, and the lighter alternatives here — Kredily, sumHR — are deliberately narrower. The question worth answering first is which modules you actually opened last quarter, because paying for the breadth is the usual reason people are on this page.
