SignHR vs Pocket HRMS

Two Indian HRMS platforms with published entry pricing. The commitment, and how cost scales, is where they part.

All comparisons

Why teams choose SignHR

  • No annual commitment — the published price is not conditional on paying a year up front
  • Per-employee pricing rather than blocks of fifty
  • Attendance, leave and payroll inputs on one record
  • Built-in Agentic HR assistant

Where Pocket HRMS is strong

  • Low published entry price for a fifty-employee team
  • Established Indian payroll and statutory handling
  • Straightforward three-tier structure that is easy to reason about

What each one costs

SignHR

Core HR
Published per employee, per month
No headcount minimum, no setup fee, no lock-in. Modules are added on top.
Agentic HR
Flat monthly add-on
Priced per company rather than per seat, so it does not scale with hiring.

Pocket HRMS

Standard
₹2,995/month
Covers 50 employees; billed annually. Additional employees ₹60 each.
Professional
₹4,495/month
Covers 50 employees; billed annually. Additional employees ₹90 each.
Premium
Quoted
Needs 100+ employees — no published figure below that.

Read the fine print: The published rate is billed annually, and the top tier needs 100+ employees — so a 60-person team falls between plans.

What moves if you switch

Employee records
SignHR has no bulk employee import today — people are added one at a time, so budget for that rather than assuming a CSV load. Export your directory from Pocket HRMS first so you have the data to work from, and talk to us before you plan the cutover.
Leave balances
Export current balances and post them as opening adjustments against each employee's ledger. Accrual history itself does not transfer.
Attendance history
This one does transfer. SignHR has an attendance import with a downloadable template, so historic punches can be loaded for reporting continuity — most teams bring in the current financial year and archive the rest.
Documents
Bulk-download from Pocket HRMS and re-upload per employee. There is no direct connector between the two products.
Payroll history
Does not transfer. Keep your Pocket HRMS payslip archive — SignHR computes payroll inputs going forward rather than restating past runs.

Who should pick which

Pick SignHR if

Teams that do not want to commit to a year up front, whose headcount sits awkwardly against the fifty-employee blocks, and whose attendance and leave need to feed payroll inputs without month-end reconciliation.

Pick Pocket HRMS if

Teams around fifty employees who are comfortable committing annually — Pocket HRMS's published entry pricing is then genuinely keen — and who want an established Indian payroll and statutory engine with a simple three-tier structure.

Questions

At exactly fifty employees with a year paid up front, Pocket HRMS's entry tier is priced keenly and may well win. Below that you are buying unused seats, and the rate only holds if you commit to the year — there is no published monthly price. The premium tier also needs 100+ employees, so a sixty-person team falls between plans.

Partly, and the honest answer matters here. Leave balances and attendance history do transfer — balances as opening ledger adjustments, punches through SignHR's attendance import and its template. Employee records do not: SignHR has no bulk employee import today, so people are added one at a time. Documents are a bulk download from Pocket HRMS and a re-upload per employee, and payroll history stays where it is. Talk to us before you plan the cutover.

It runs a full Indian payroll and statutory engine and has an established track record. If disbursement and compliance filing inside the same product matter to you, that is a real reason to stay.

Our take

Should you switch to SignHR?

If you are comfortable committing to a year and sit close to a fifty-employee block, Pocket HRMS is priced keenly. If you would rather not pre-commit, or your headcount is nowhere near fifty, per-employee pricing is the cheaper and more flexible shape.
