Attendance & Time
Employees can mark attendance via face recognition on the mobile app, QR code scanning at office kiosks, geo-fenced check-ins, or web-based manual punches. Managers can view real-time attendance dashboards and approve regularisation requests for missed punches.
Yes. You can define fixed, rotating, and flexible shifts. Employees are assigned to shifts, and the system automatically calculates attendance against the assigned schedule. Shift swap requests can be routed for manager approval.
Yes. Overtime rules are configurable per company policy — you can set overtime eligibility, approval requirements, rate multipliers (1.5x, 2x), and whether overtime is paid or compensated as time off in lieu. Overtime is automatically calculated based on recorded attendance.
Leave Management
SignHR supports annual leave, sick leave, casual leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, bereavement leave, marriage leave, and custom leave types. Each leave type can have its own accrual rule, carry-forward limit, and approval workflow.
Leave balances are calculated based on the accrual rule configured for each leave type — upfront grant at the start of the year, monthly accrual, or quarterly accrual. The system automatically tracks leaves taken, pending requests, and carry-forward balances.
Yes. The SignHR mobile app (iOS and Android) lets employees apply for leave, view their balance, check the status of pending requests, and receive push notifications when a request is approved or rejected.
Payroll & Compliance
SignHR automates payroll by pulling attendance data, leave deductions, overtime, reimbursements, and loan repayments into a single payroll run. It calculates earnings, deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS), and generates payslips, bank statements, and compliance reports.
Yes. SignHR includes built-in support for Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and TDS deductions. The system is updated to reflect the latest government rates and thresholds.
Yes. SignHR generates Form 16, PF challans, ESI returns, and PT returns directly from payroll data. You can download these reports for filing or export them for your CA.
Platform & Account
SignHR is a cloud-based HR management platform designed for Indian SMEs. It covers the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and attendance tracking to leave management, payroll, performance reviews, and compliance reporting. You can access it via web browser or the mobile app.
Yes. SignHR is built specifically for small and medium-sized businesses with 10–1,000 employees. Plans start with core HRMS features and scale up as your team grows. There are no long-term contracts on the free trial.
SignHR uses enterprise-grade encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit) and stores data in ISO 27001-certified data centres. Each workspace is isolated at the database level. We also maintain SOC 2 compliance and conduct regular third-party penetration tests.
SignHR integrates with popular tools including Slack (leave notifications), Google Workspace (SSO), and major accounting software. Our API allows custom integrations with your existing tech stack.
Yes. The SignHR mobile app is available on both iOS and Android. Employees can mark attendance, apply for leave, view payslips, submit expense claims, and receive notifications — all from their phone.
You can reach our support team via email at support@signhr.io, through the contact form, or by booking a call with a product specialist. We also maintain a library of help articles and guides.
Data & Migration
Yes. SignHR supports data import from spreadsheets (CSV/XLSX) for employees, salary structures, attendance records, and leave balances. For advanced migrations from other HRMS platforms, our support team can assist with the data mapping and import process.
Go to People → Import, download the CSV/XLSX template, fill it in, and upload. SignHR validates each row and flags exactly what to fix before any records are created — so a bad import never silently corrupts your data.
